Paul Riley is an Intelligence Solutions Lead and proud resident of Crozet, Virginia. Born in Norwich, New York, he graduated from Florida State University in 1989 and went on to serve more than 20 years in the U.S. Army.
He and his wife, Jani, have been married for over 30 years and raised three children: McKenna, Nathaniel, and Keegan. Paul enjoys the outdoors—whether traveling, hiking, fishing, or hunting—and is deeply committed to his family and community.
Paul’s distinguished military career included assignments in Panama, England, Germany, and a deployment to Iraq. After retiring in 2010, he continued to lead by example—coaching youth sports and serving as an intelligence analyst and COO of a 300-person national security team supporting the Department of Defense.
Paul brings a lifetime of leadership, integrity, and service to everything he does. From the battlefield to the boardroom, he has earned a reputation for thoughtful decision-making and results-driven leadership.
Now, he’s running for Congress to serve the people of Virginia’s 5th District—championing practical solutions, building consensus, and putting people over politics.
